What is CoDeck?

CoDeck turns your iPhone into a dedicated, physical controller and voice dictation remote for your coding environment. It is built from the ground up to support modern AI-first editors like Cursor, Windsurf, and Trae, allowing you to input long, complex reasoning prompts without ever touching your keyboard.

🎙️ Speak Your Prompts

Stop typing long context descriptions and bug reports. Hold the physical button on your phone, speak your mind, and watch Apple's powerful on-device speech recognition instantly inject your words into the IDE's active AI Chat Window.

🕹️ Hardware Navigation

Keep your eyes on the screen, not your mouse. Use your iPhone's physical volume buttons to navigate your AI chat history, switch between active AI models (e.g., Claude 3.5 to GPT-4o), or scroll through code—all with tactile, eyes-free feedback.

⚡ Zero Configuration

No IP addresses to type. No accounts to register. CoDeck uses Apple Bonjour (mDNS) technology to instantly and securely discover your IDE on your local Wi-Fi network.

Setup Instructions

  1. Install this CoDeck Receiver extension in your IDE.
  2. Download the CoDeck App on your iPhone.
  3. Ensure both your computer and iPhone are connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.
  4. Open the iOS app. It will automatically find your IDE and turn green ("Connected").
  5. Press and hold the on-screen microphone button to start dictating into your IDE!

Privacy First

CoDeck operates entirely locally. Your voice dictation is processed locally on your Apple device, and commands are sent via local websockets. Zero telemetry, zero cloud data.
