Ehngot Detector

Ehngot Detector adds a fun reaction to coding errors in VS Code. When VS Code detects a new error diagnostic, it plays the included Ehngot sound and displays an Ehngot image beside the affected line.

The image automatically disappears when the error is fixed.

Requirements

• Visual Studio Code 1.137.0 or newer.
• Windows — sound playback currently uses Windows PowerShell.
• A language extension that provides diagnostics, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or C#.

Limitations

• Only error-severity diagnostics trigger the sound and image.
• Currently Windows-only.
• No settings are currently available to customize the sound or image.
