DB/IQ-QA VSCode Extension

Requirements

This extension is compatible with Windows and Linux.

It requires Visual Studio Code version 1.51.0 or later.

The minimum supported VS Code version is defined by the APIs used by the extension, including:

• Webview panels and Webview views
• Tree View API
• File System API (workspace.fs)
• Active color theme detection (window.activeColorTheme.kind)

This extension requires access to a running DB/IQ-QA-API instance. The API is mandatory and is used by the extension to submit requests to DB/IQ-QA.

The supported DB/IQ-QA-API versions are 2025.1.* and later.

The DB/IQ-QA-API can be deployed either on a remote server or locally. Regardless of its deployment mode, the DB/IQ-QA-API requires access to DB/IQ-QA. Without this access, Quality Assurance requests cannot be processed.

Valid credentials are required to connect to the DB/IQ-QA-API. Authentication parameters must be configured in the extension settings.
