Easy File

Quick file creation with folder navigation and templates.

Commands

• Easy File: Create file
• Easy File: Open template folder

Templates

• Press Ctrl + Shift + P and type Easy File: Open template folder to open the folder with templates.
• Create a new template with template name and the correct extension (e.g. template.vue for Vue template).

Create File

• Press Ctrl + Alt + N to create a new file.
• Navigate to the folder where you want to create the file. You can quickly create a new folder using the New folder option.
• Press ✅ Use this folder to confirm your selection.
• Enter the file name including the extension (e.g. NewComponent.vue).
• The file will be created in the selected folder, either empty or pre-filled with the template if one exists.
