Use

Open an HTML file and run a Tag Mate command from the Command Palette. Change Tag is also available from the editor context menu.

Tag Mate handles nested, custom, void, multiline, and mixed-case HTML tags. Unsafe or malformed operations stop without editing. No webview, telemetry, workspace scan, or automatic rename behavior.
