AgentA11y.ai v2

Installs the AgentA11y.ai - v2 accessibility testing agent for GitHub Copilot Chat, together with its page worker, protocol files, helpers, and MCP configuration.

What gets installed

On startup the extension copies these files into your VS Code User prompts folder:

• agenta11y-ai-v2.agent.md (coordinator)
• agenta11y-ai-v2-page-worker.agent.md (page worker)
• agenta11y-ai-v2-assessment.md, agenta11y-ai-v2-contracts.md
• agenta11y-ai-v2-helpers.js, agenta11y-ai-v2-tools.cjs

It also adds these servers to your User mcp.json when they are missing:

• accessibilitymcp (accessibility-server-mcp)
• playwright (@playwright/mcp, isolated)
• ado (@azure-devops/mcp, prompts for the organization name)
• com.atlassian/atlassian-mcp-server

Existing MCP entries are never overwritten. If one differs from the bundled default, the extension keeps yours and offers to reset it.

Updates and backups

A changed agent file is replaced only when the extension version is newer than the one last installed. The previous copy is saved under the extension's global storage folder, outside prompts, so it is not loaded as an extra agent.

Usage

Open Copilot Chat, choose AgentA11y.ai - v2 from the agent picker, and describe the pages to test.

Run AgentA11y.ai v2: Reinstall Agents and MCP Config from the Command Palette to force a fresh install.

• Visual Studio Code 1.95 or later
• GitHub Copilot Chat, signed in
• Node.js (npx) for the MCP servers
