Quickly add the standard Fifty-Five copyright header to your code files. Designed for internal and client projects to ensure all files include the proper legal notice consistently.
Features
Insert header in the current file: Prepend the Fifty-Five header to the file you are currently editing.
Insert header in all files in a folder: Automatically prepend the header to all files in the current folder and all its subfolders recursively.
Works with any file type supported by VS Code.
Usage
Insert header in the current file
Open the file you want to update.
Press the keyboard shortcut:
Windows / Linux:Ctrl + Alt + H
Mac:Cmd + Alt + H
The standard Fifty-Five header will be added at the top of the file.
Insert header in all files in the current folder (including subfolders)
Open any file inside the folder you want to update.
Press the keyboard shortcut:
Windows / Linux:Ctrl + Alt + Shift + H
Mac:Cmd + Alt + Shift + H
The header will be added to all files in the folder and all subfolders, recursively.
⚠️ Warning: This action cannot be undone automatically. Make sure to back up your folder before applying headers to multiple files.

Currently, the extension uses a fixed Fifty-Five header template.
