Enia Code Local

Enia Code Local is a sub-extension of the Enia Code extension. It is installed automatically when you install Enia Code — no separate installation is required.

Overview

This extension runs locally in your VS Code environment (as a UI extension). It provides local-only features that need to run on your machine, such as:

• Screen recording — Start and stop recording your screen from within VS Code via the command palette or Enia Code integration.

MacOS Screen Recording Setup

If you are using MacOS, complete the following five steps before using the screen recording feature:

1. Open System Settings and go to Privacy & Security.
2. Open Accessibility.
3. Enable permission for Visual Studio Code.
4. Open Screen & System Audio Recording.
5. Enable permission for Visual Studio Code.
