XenoUI Preview — renders the [Preview] components and pages of the active
C# file while you type, with the same isolated render server as the Visual
Studio extension (XenoUI.PreviewServer).
Templates — create XenoUI apps, pages and components (XenoUI.Templates),
from the command palette or the explorer context menu.
Devices — shows the Android devices detected by the XenoUI tooling in the
status bar and launches the active XenoUI application on the selected device.
Commands:
XenoUI: Open Preview (Cmd/Ctrl+Alt+P), XenoUI: Refresh Preview
XenoUI: New Project…, XenoUI: New Page…, XenoUI: New Component…, XenoUI: Install Templates
XenoUI: Select Device, XenoUI: Refresh Devices, XenoUI: Run on Selected Device
Requires the .NET 10 SDK on PATH.
During framework development the extension uses the workspace checkout: the
preview server is built from tools/visualstudio/XenoUI.PreviewServer, templates
are installed from templates/XenoUI.Templates/content, and XenoUI.Tooling runs
from source. Consumer installs use the server and templates shipped in the
.vsix, and the xeno command on PATH.
Discovery recognizes Android projects using Xeno.SDK, with an explicit SDK
version or a version in global.json, as well as legacy local imports.
npm test — discovery, preview server protocol (against a fake server) and template helpers.
npm run package [-- --target darwin-arm64 …] — one .vsix per platform in artifacts/vscode.
