Image Viewer

VS Code extension that displays images in a dockable editor panel.

Features

  • Show images in separate panel

  • Dockable and movable panel

  • Auto-resize image to fit panel

  • Images can be Local or from the internet

Usage

Status Bar: Click the image icon $(file-media) in bottom-right corner

Activity Bar: Click the settings gear in left sidebar for configuration

Explorer: Expand "DREM Image" section in file explorer

Configure your image source in Activity Bar settings:

Select local image file

Enter web image URL

Clear to use default image

Requirements

  • VS Code 1.60.0 or higher
