DevExpress Template Kit for VS Code

You can use this extension in Visual Studio Code (for Windows and macOS). A version for Visual Studio is available as a separate extension: DevExpress Template Kit for Visual Studio.

How to Use DevExpress Templates

Once the extension is installed, follow these steps to create a new DevExptess project:

1. Open the Explorer tab in VS Code. Note that if you have an opened project, you need to close it first (File | Close Folder)
2. Click the New DevExpress Project button in the Explorer panel.
3. Enter the project name in the command bar on the top.
4. Select the target folder for your project.

To ensure that your project can access required DevExpress NuGet packages, run the DevExpress Unified Component Installer or register the online DevExpress NuGet Feed in your IDE/CLI (if you have not done so yet). For additional information, review the following help articles:
