Dailybot: async standups, right where you code

Dailybot captures work from your coding agents and your own check-in responses, and keeps it all visible to the team. The VS Code extension puts that workflow inside your editor so you never have to context-switch for a status update.

What you can do

  • Submit your standup directly from VS Code with clean, minimal forms
  • Review agent-populated updates — when your coding agent reports a session, Dailybot pre-fills your standup with what actually happened
  • See team updates — check what your teammates (and their agents) shipped, right from the sidebar
  • Track progress — stay on top of blockers and completed work without opening another tool

How it works with coding agents

Dailybot has a full agent API. Coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor Agent, and GitHub Copilot can report their work sessions (commits, PRs, blockers, decisions) directly to Dailybot. That work feeds into your team's standup cycle automatically. The result for you: open VS Code, see your standup pre-filled, review it, send it. Done. For managers: human and agent contributions show up side by side in one feed. No chasing people in Slack, no extra meetings.
