DPF Data Platform — VS Code Extension

Adds DPF's remote MCP server to VS Code automatically — no manual mcp.json editing required.

Once installed, DPF's tools (data source onboarding, schema inference, transform jobs, Iceberg queries) appear in Copilot Chat's agent mode / MCP tool picker. Connecting opens a browser login (OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration) — your password is typed on DPF's own page, never inside VS Code.

Requirements

• VS Code 1.101 or later (MCP server definition providers API).

What this extension does

It contributes a single MCP server definition pointing at https://api.dpf-it.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP transport). It does not run any server code locally — DPF's MCP server is fully remote and hosted by DPF.
