DSL Syntax for VS Code
VS Code language support for the DSL implemented by
dsl-compiler. The extension provides syntax highlighting,
snippets, function/program completion, and block formatting.
Build
Requirements: Node.js and npm.
npm ci
npm run compile
The extension entrypoint is out/extension.js. Generated out/ and .vsix
artifacts are ignored by Git.
Supported Surface
The extension tracks the compiler language contract, including:
# comments;
- assignments, numbers, strings, arithmetic, comparisons, and
COALESCE;
IF, FOR, DO WHILE, DO UNTIL, and event-aware DO UNTIL;
- functions, named arguments, imports, files, arrays,
SLEEP, and COMMAND;
- named event payloads with
EVENT ... WITH and RAISE EVENT ... WITH;
- WebSocket device declarations, sync/async
SEND, AWAIT, and listeners.
Unsupported or transport-specific behavior is documented as such; highlighting
syntax does not claim that a device protocol is available in every environment.
