🚀 How It Works

The Codetape workflow is designed to feel like magic:

1. Record
   After committing your changes, click the "Record Walkthrough" button in the Codetape side panel. This opens our web-based recorder.

2. Explain
   Record a short (1–2 minute) walkthrough explaining the "what" and "why" of your changes.

3. Create PR
   Go back to your work. When you're ready, create your pull request using your preferred method (gh CLI, GitHub website, etc.).

4. Magic!
   Within moments, Codetape detects the new PR and automatically posts a comment containing your video and a concise AI-generated summary.
   Your reviewer gets all the context they need, instantly.

🏁 Getting Started (in under 2 minutes)

1. Install & Log In
   Install the Codetape extension from the Marketplace. Open the Codetape side panel and log in with your GitHub account.

2. Connect Your Repo
   Follow the prompt to install the Codetape GitHub App on the repository you're working on. This grants us the necessary permissions to post comments on your behalf.

3. Start Recording
   Click the "Record Walkthrough" button for your current branch and give your code a voice!
