File Tray

File Tray is a Visual Studio Code extension that provides a persistent file tray for easy access to documentation files.

Features

  • Add files to a persistent tray for quick access
  • Remove files from the tray
  • Copy file content directly from the tray
  • Convenient access through the Activity Bar

Installation

  1. Open Visual Studio Code
  2. Go to the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X)
  3. Search for "File Tray"
  4. Click Install

Usage

  1. Click on the File Tray icon in the Activity Bar
  2. Use the "Add File to Tray" button to add files
  3. Right-click on files in the tray to remove them or copy their content
  4. Click on a file in the tray to open it

Commands

  • File Tray: Add File to Tray: Adds a file to the File Tray
  • File Tray: Remove File from Tray: Removes a file from the File Tray
  • File Tray: Copy File Content: Copies the content of a file in the tray
