Requirements

• Visual Studio Code 1.85.0 or later
• GitHub Personal Access Token (PAT)
• Jira Cloud API Token (optional, for Jira integration)

Getting Started

1. Open the SyncHub view from the VS Code Activity Bar.
2. Click the + button to add a GitHub or Jira connection.
3. Follow the authentication and configuration prompts.
4. Start managing your tasks directly from VS Code.

Git Integration

If Git integration features are unavailable, ensure the built-in VS Code Git extension is enabled.

When disabled, SyncHub displays an informational notice in the sidebar, and Git-related capabilities such as branch linking and pull request awareness will not be active.

Security and Privacy

SyncHub runs entirely within Visual Studio Code and uses your provided authentication tokens for GitHub and Jira Cloud integrations. No external backend service is required for core functionality.
