Quick Start 🏃‍♂️

  1. Install the extension.
  2. Open a workspace folder with an index.html file.
  3. Click the Go Live icon in the status bar or right-click an HTML file and select Go Live.
  4. Your site will open in your default browser, and you can also open the Embedded Preview from the status bar.

Extension Settings ⚙️

  • go-live.port: The port to run the server on (default: 5500).
  • go-live.root: The root directory to serve files from.
  • go-live.spa: Enable Single Page Application fallback.
  • go-live.proxy: URL to proxy backend requests to.
  • go-live.chromeExecutable: Custom path to Chrome/Edge if auto-detection fails.
