Bunkie

Bunkie allows you to edit your code using AI and ask questions from Chat GPT, without leaving vscode.

Getting Started

Simply install the extension on your Visual Studio Code. If you want to use GPT-3.5 with Bunkie, you’re already set up.

If you want to use GPT-4, we’ll need your OpenAI API key. Just select GPT-4 in the chat tab and it will ask you for your API key automatically.

Feature - Chat

You can chat with GPT-3.5 for free and GPT-4 (provided your own API key) using Bunkie. To open the chat tab use command+k (or cntrl+k on windows).

Feature - Edit

You can edit your code by selecting a region of code and clicking command+l (or cntrl+l on windows). This will open the edit tab. From there, just tell bunkie how to edit the code for you.

You can then either accept the edit or revert back to the original version. Edit Before Edit After
