Intelligent Code Generation

With "CodebaseGPT," just describe what you want to achieve, and the AI will generate the code for you.

Easily select the files you want the AI to work on. Through an intuitive file explorer, you can choose the files where you want the code changes to be applied. No need to manually browse through directories. Just point, click, and you're ready to go!

Once the files are selected, just describe what you want the code to do. You can type or even speak your request. The AI understands natural language and can translate your thoughts into code. Whether it's adding a new feature or fixing a bug, "CodebaseGPT" is at your service.

After the AI processes your request, you'll get a preview of the changes. Review the updated code, and if everything looks good, apply the changes with a single click. If you need further tweaks, you can either edit manually or ask the AI for adjustments. It's coding made easy and fun!

Requirements

Make sure you have the following prerequisites before installing "CodebaseGPT":

• Visual Studio Code (Latest Version)
• Internet Connection (for AI communication)

Extension Settings

"CodebaseGPT" provides customizable settings through the contributes.configuration extension point:

• CodebaseGPT.enable: Enable/disable the extension.
• CodebaseGPT.autoSave: Set to true to automatically save changes made by the AI.
