DESIGO Essentials ELC

这是西门子发布的VS-Code扩展，用于在Desigo Essentials上编写程序。

Logic Manager

逻辑管理器编程工具是一种离线编辑工具，允许您配置、编程、编译和调试主控制器ELC。E14及其I/O扩展模块（EM1.8U、EM1.8D和EM1.8R）。编译后的程序可以下载到主控制器及其扩展模块，以控制物理设备。此编程工具的主要功能是：

1. 支持项目创建和管理：
   • 可以在Logic Manager编程工具中创建和管理项目、节点和设备，以模拟真实世界的场景。
   • 可以导入和导出项目和设备，以最大限度地提高可重用性并节省项目创建时间。
2. 支持控制器和I/O扩展模块的配置：
   • 可以添加和删除I/O扩展模块。
   • 可以根据终端标签配置每个输入或输出的参数。
   • 可配置RS485（仅适用于控制器）和EM总线通信参数。
   • 可以配置控制器的网络设置。
   • 可以设置I/O扩展模块地址和线路终端。
3. 可以通过组合预定义的功能块（FB）来创建控制逻辑。支持的功能块包括Control、Math、Data、Logic和Variable。
4. 可以编译控制程序并离线模拟它们。
   • 编译控制逻辑以生成可由控制器执行的控制程序。
   • 使用离线模拟器模拟编译后的逻辑。
5. 允许创建、导入、保存和使用自定义模板的标准库。
6. 可以将控制程序下载到控制器。
7. 可以在线模拟和调试控制程序。

固件版本要求

当前工具版本推荐配合V02.02.XX版本固件使用，当固件版本为V02.01.XX时，只支持与相应固件匹配的功能。
为了充分利用设备固件支持的所有特性，对于V2.1.X及之前的工具版本，请严格按照固件版本和工具版本对应关系进行使用：

This is a Siemens released VS-Code extension to compose program on Desigo Essentials.

Logic Manager

Logic Manager Programming Tool is an offline editing tool that allows you to configure, program, compile, and debug the main controller ELC.E14 and its I/O extension modules (EM1.8U, EM1.8D and EM1.8R) on the PC side. Compiled programs can be downloaded to the main controller and its extension modules to control physical devices. The main functions of this programming tool are:

1. Supports project creation and management:
   • Can create and manage projects, nodes, and devices in Logic Manager Programming Tool to simulate real-world scenarios.
   • Can import and export projects and devices to maximize re-usability and save project creation time.
2. Supports configuration of controllers and I/O extension modules:
   • Can add and remove I/O extension modules.
   • Can configure parameters of each input or output based on terminal labels.
   • Can configure RS485 (applicable for controller only) and EM Bus communication parameters.
   • Can configure network settings for the controller.
   • Can set I/O extension module addresses and line terminations.
3. Can create control logic by combining predefined function blocks (FB). The supported function blocks include Control, Math, Data, Logic, and Variable.
4. Can compile control programs and simulate them offline.
   • Compile the control logic to generate a control program that can be executed by the controller.
   • Simulate the compiled logic using the offline simulator.
5. Provides standard libraries that allow for the creation, import, saving, and use of customized templates.
6. Can download control programs to the controller.
7. Can simulate and commission control programs online.

Firmware Requirement

It is suggested this tool version be used together with firmware version V02.02.XX, when firmware version is V02.01.XX, only corresponding features are supported. To fully utilize the firmware features, for tool version before V2.1.X, please strictly choose firmware and tool version as following:
