Installation
Launch VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl+P), paste the following command, and press enter.
BMC AMI DevX Workbench File-AID (DevX File-AID) allows developers to browse and edit various types of mainframe data sets (sequential, VSAM, IAM data sets etc.) and Db2 databases using powerful visualization and helps preserve data integrity and relationships.
Developers can view MVS data sets and Db2 databases in a spreadsheet-like format which enables many table-level features that provides ease of use.

Create a new request using a single layout to open the MVS data set using the File-AID Data editor using the command palette command as DevX File-AID: Create Data Editor Request or context menu action- Open with Data Editor.
