About

SSIS Catalog Migration Wizard helps you migrate the full or part of the SSIS catalog to another SQL server. You can move the SSIS catalog to another server between any version of SQL Server (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, Azure Data Factory/ Azure SQL Database, or Azure SQL managed instance). Apart from one-time migrations, this tool is designed to help you easily manage day-to-day SSIS catalog activities. It also provides a command-line utility to automate routine deployments or migrations.

Easily compare source and target SSIS catalogs to identify differences. Migrate only the items that have changed — saving time and avoiding redundant deployments.

🗂️ Customize Folder Names on the Fly

The wizard auto-populates all selected SSIS folders from the source and allows inline editing of the target folder names. Rename folders directly in the 'Target Folder' column to suit your target structure.

🧪 Replace Environment Variable Values

Use dynamic key-value mapping to replace environment variable values and parameter values. The Suggest button intelligently recommends substitutions based on the selected scope.

🖥️ Standalone Installation

Don't have Visual Studio installed? No problem. You can run SSIS Catalog Migration Wizard as a standalone application:

1. Download the extension from this page.
2. Rename the file extension from .vsix to .zip.
3. Extract the contents using 7-Zip or any ZIP utility into a folder (e.g., SSIS Cataloger).
4. Open the extracted folder and double-click SSIS.Cataloger.Pro.exe to launch the tool.
