Code Fail Sound

Plays a failure sound in VS Code when:

• diagnostics report errors
• a task exits with non-zero code
• integrated terminal shell command exits with non-zero code

Settings

• codeFailSound.enable (boolean, default: true): Enable/disable failure sound.

Usage

1. Install extension.
2. Ensure media/fail.mp3 is a valid MP3 file.
3. Trigger a compile/runtime error or failed terminal command.

Notes
