Audit Tailoring

Audit Tailoring is an optional licensed feature for reducing an audit file to the checks your organisation requires.

Keep Only Listed Checks

Paste a list of the checks you need. AuditTailor matches them against the current .audit file and separates the results into likely matches, uncertain results, missing controls, and checks that can likely be removed.

You can then:

• review likely and uncertain matches;
• identify requested checks that were not found;
• preview the proposed changes in a diff; and
• remove checks that are not required.

Exact matches are retained automatically. When titles or control numbers differ, AuditTailor can suggest likely equivalents for you to review before making changes.

Licence

The core editing and navigation features do not require a licence. A licence is required for Audit Tailoring.

A licence is for use on one device.

Install AuditTailor from the VS Code Marketplace:

After installation, open a .audit file in VS Code to start using the editing and navigation features.
