AskCodi is an AI code assistant developed by Assistiv.ai, that facilitates coders to code faster by providing

Whether you are new to coding or a professional, working individually or in a team, AskCodi helps save time by answering your queries in your favourite IDE.

Easy Installation

Search for "AskCodi" in your Extensions Tab
Click on the Install button
Reload or restart your VSCode if needed.

Privacy protected

You can code worry free with AskCodi as the code generated or passed is not saved. Privacy is important since the user code can contain information that is confidential, hence AskCodi doesn't save the code from extensions.

Usage

After installation, navigate to the AskCodi' Settings page (Open Settings from the Command Palette or click on AskCodi icon at the right of IDE to open AskCodi Panel and click on settings. Reference screenshots).
For Applications like (Generate Code, Document Code, Test Code, and Explain Code etc.), write the query as a comment or statement in the open file in editor, select the query, right click=> AskCodi=> application
**Ask Codi anything: **You can ask questions directly from AskCodi panel. Select one of the checkbox option for current file or selected text for context, select the model from model dropdown, type your question, and submit.

AskCodi Chat is a freestyle application where you can ask Codi anything!
