Arkhe helps you visualize abstract ideas into concrete folder structures using AI, renders them instanly as interactive Mermaid diagrams, and monitors the "drift" between your planned architecture and the actual file system.

How to Use

  1. Open Arkhe:

    • Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P).
    • Run "Arkhe: Open Chat".
  2. Design:

    • Type your architecture idea (e.g., "Create a DDD-based Node.js API with Auth users").
    • Watch Arkhe generate the plan and visualize it.
  3. Manage:

    • view the generated Mermaid diagram.
    • Save the plan to track it.
    • As you code, check Arkhe to see if your file structure drifts from the plan.

Configuration

Arkhe uses the VS Code Secret Storage for your API keys to ensure security.

  1. When prompted, enter your OpenAI API Key.
  2. Arkhe will securely store it for future sessions.
