Requirements

• VS Code 1.106.1+
• GitHub Copilot extension with active subscription

Quick Start

1. Start the AI Bridge

Click "AI Bridge: Start" in the VS Code status bar (bottom-right):

2. Open AI Settings in Argent Engine

Click the AI settings button in the editor:

3. Enable External AI

In the settings panel, go to External AI, enable Use External AI, and click Connect to test the connection:

4. Approve the Connection

When prompted in VS Code, approve the connection request (one-time only).

5. That's it!

The AI assistant is now connected and ready to use in Argent Engine.

Troubleshooting

"No language models available"
Make sure GitHub Copilot is installed and you're signed in with an active subscription.

"Port already in use"
Change the port in Settings → Extensions → Argent Engine AI Bridge.
