Weavr - Fragmented Thinking & Writing 🕸️

Weave fragmented thinking into logic. Build the ultimate thought-driven map with Markdown writing.

Weavr is a visual, node-based canvas editor designed specifically for researchers, academics, and heavy Markdown users. It allows you to break down complex thoughts into atomic Markdown cards, visually connect them to build rigorous logic graphs, and eventually compile them back into a cohesive, linear document.

🌟 Key Features

1. Visual Zettelkasten & Logic Canvas

  • Atomic Cards & Markdown Integration: Create thought nodes on the canvas. Each card links to a dedicated Markdown document, allowing you to edit the details behind every high-level concept independently.
  • Intentional Minimalism: Cards are uniform in size and style. No resizing, no color-picking. This constraint forces 100% focus on the thoughts rather than formatting.
  • Rigorous Logic Routing: Visually connect cards to map out deductions. The built-in routing rules enforce strict logical clarity: a card accepts only one incoming connection (single source of truth), and cyclic dependencies (loops) are strictly blocked.
  • Split-View Editing: Double-click any node to instantly open its linked Markdown file right beside the canvas.

2. Symbol Domains (Cross-Card Consistency)

  • Global Math Consistency: Ever struggled with inconsistent mathematical symbols across different notes or proofs? Symbol Domains allow you to define a global dictionary (scalars, vectors, matrices) and bind it to specific cards.
  • Intelligent Autocomplete: Once bound, simply type \ in your Markdown editor to trigger intelligent LaTeX auto-completion and hover definitions, ensuring your notation remains identical across your entire knowledge graph.

3. Linear Markdown Export

  • One-Click Compilation: Select a logic chain on your canvas and export it into a single, linearly ordered Markdown document based on its topological depth.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Create a Canvas: Create a new file with the .wv or .weavr extension (e.g., research.wv) and open it.
  2. Add Cards: Click "+ Add Card" to spawn a new thought node.
  3. Write: Double-click the card to write your Markdown content.
  4. Connect: Drag a connection from one card to another. Any logically valid connection points will automatically highlight in blue.
  5. Bind Symbols: Click "Symbol Domains" to build your dictionary and ensure cross-card consistency.
  6. Export: Select your cards, click "Export", and generate your final compiled Markdown document.
