A Matrix chat client for VS Code.

Features

• Chat: Send and receive messages in Matrix rooms directly from VS Code.

Usage

1. Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P).
2. Run Matrix Collab: Start.
3. Log in with your Matrix homeserver URL, username, and password.

Security

• Secrets: Your credentials are stored securely using VS Code's Secret Storage.
• Encryption: Keys are stored locally in your global storage directory.
• CSP: The extension uses a strict Content Security Policy.

Requirements

• VS Code 1.85.0 or higher.
