Easy Console Log VSCode Extension

This VSCode extension console.logs a statement with file name, line number for the selected variable and generates a random programming jokes to make you laugh and lighten up your day.

Features

  • 🚀 Inserts a new line just below the selected variable with the console.log statement.
  • 🔥 Displays file name, line number and the variable name with the selected variable text
  • 🤣 Retrieves a random programming joke from a web API.
  • Displays the joke in the editor.
  • Keyboard shortcut "ctrl+shift+L" to activate the command.

Usage

To use the extension, simply press the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+L on windows & shift+cmd+L on mac, and the console log statement as well as a random programming joke will be displayed in the editor.

Installation

  • Open the Extensions pane in VSCode (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X on Mac).
  • Search for "Easy Console Log" and click the "install" button.
  • Restart VSCode if prompted.
