File Locker

Lock and unlock your VS Code files with password protection. Encrypts file content using AES-256 and keeps your code safe.

Commands

Usage

1. Open a file in VS Code.
2. Use Ctrl+Alt+L or run File Locker: Lock File to lock the file.
3. Enter a password when prompted.
4. To unlock, use Ctrl+Alt+U or run File Locker: Unlock File and enter the correct password.

Requirements

• VS Code >= 1.90.0
• Node.js (for development/build)

Extension Settings

No settings needed. Works out-of-the-box.

Known Issues

• Locked content is only replaced in the file, not in memory. Make sure to save before locking.
