Insert configurable lorem ipsum placeholder text — words, sentences, or whole
paragraphs — exactly where you need it, without leaving the editor.
Features
Insert Words — drop a chosen number of filler words on a single line.
Insert Sentences — generate complete sentences with natural-looking
capitalisation, the occasional comma, and varied length.
Insert Paragraphs — build several multi-sentence paragraphs separated by
blank lines.
Works at every cursor at once, and replaces any text you have selected.
Zero dependencies; uses only the public VS Code API.
Usage
Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P).
Run one of:
Loremcraft: Insert Words
Loremcraft: Insert Sentences
Loremcraft: Insert Paragraphs
When prompted, enter how many you want (it defaults to 5 for words and 3
for sentences and paragraphs). The prompt only accepts a positive whole
number.
The generated text is inserted at each cursor. If you had a selection, it is
replaced.
