Copilot Usage Tracker

A local-first VS Code Extension that tracks developer activity and estimates GitHub Copilot usage patterns based on purely local heuristics.

Features

  • Complete Privacy: No code stored, completely local-first structure (SQLite).
  • Heuristics Detection: Catches multi-line injections and scores AI probability.
  • Real-time Dashboard: Animates lines, daily activity patterns, and AI contribution gaps.

Usage

  1. Make sure to have the Extension Active.
  2. Type logic or Paste AI fragments natively into your script.
  3. Open the Command Palette and fire Copilot Usage Tracker: Show Dashboard to visualize.

Privacy Statement

This extension works completely offline. It logs local telemetry into your extension global storage and makes zero outbound network calls tracking any raw code.
