🧠 Ambient Context

As you navigate between files in VS Code, Canopy silently fetches the engineering memory associated with that file and displays it in the sidebar. You get instant access to PR context, Slack decisions, and architecture docs without ever leaving your editor.

🔐 Secure SaaS Authentication

Canopy uses a Deep-Link URI authentication flow. Connect your GitHub account via the secure web portal, and your session token is beamed directly back to your VS Code encrypted Secret Storage. Your organization's memory stays completely secure.

⚕️ Pre-Mortem Analysis

Before you commit a complex change, click Run Pre-Mortem. Canopy will analyze your active file against historical regressions and architecture rules, warning you of potential bottlenecks or bugs before they hit production.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Install the extension.
2. Open the Canopy Sidebar.
3. Click Connect to Canopy.
4. Authenticate via GitHub on our web portal.
5. Open any source file in your project and watch your engineering memory appear!
