Run the ASL Localization QA, Copy Claims Checker and static-site SEO gate kits you own from inside the editor, on the open file or workspace, with the report opened beside it.
Installation
Launch VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl+P), paste the following command, and press enter.
Localization QA: missing translations, damaged placeholders, whitespace changes and access-key
defects in flat JSON dictionaries.
Copy Claims Checker: drafts checked against supplied facts and editorial rules, with hashes of
the exact copy and facts.
Static-site SEO regression gate: a publish gate that blocks only new regressions in a
generated static site (broken links, missing hreflang, placeholder titles, noindex on money pages).
The kits are separate downloads sold by Auto Secure Login. This extension bundles none of them: it
runs the kit's own command line from the folder you extracted it to, and opens the report it writes.
Without a kit configured, the commands explain where to get it.
Setup
Extract the kit ZIP somewhere permanent.
In Settings, set the matching asl.kits.*Path to that folder (the one that contains cli.mjs,
or scripts/seo_gate.py for the gate).
The JSON kits need Node 20 or later (asl.kits.nodePath); the gate needs Python 3.10 or later
(asl.kits.pythonPath).
Use
Open the kit's input JSON and run ASL: Check localization dictionaries or ASL: Check copy
claims against facts (also in the editor's context menu for .json files). For the gate, run
ASL: Run the static-site SEO gate and pick the candidate folder, the live baseline folder and the
origin. Reports are written under .asl-reports/ in the workspace and opened beside the file; the
ASL Kits output channel keeps the command line and the summary.
Privacy
Everything runs on your machine. The extension makes no network requests and sends no telemetry;
the kits themselves work offline.
Licence
The extension is MIT. Each kit keeps the licence it was sold under.
