SkyCoder — Multi-Bot Pair Programming Client for VS Code

Run a fleet of coding bots in parallel, right inside VS Code. SkyCoder orchestrates multiple bots simultaneously so complex, multi-file tasks finish in minutes instead of hours — with every change reviewed and approved before it touches your code.

Why SkyCoder?

Parallel execution: Spawn multiple bots at once. One refactors your backend while another writes tests. No waiting, no bottlenecks.

You stay in control: Every file edit, terminal command, and external call goes through an approval workflow. Accept, reject, or tweak — your code never changes without your permission.

Deep code understanding: SkyCoder understands your project at the symbol level — cross-file references, type definitions, call hierarchies — across JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Rust, C++, and more.

Universal Session: Access the same session in every VS Code window. Transfer bot execution to different windows. Execution transfers are supported even in multi-player mode.

Key Features

  • Multi-bot panel — run and monitor several bots side by side in a single panel
  • Bot toolchain — bots read and write files, execute terminal commands, browse the web, and call MCP servers
  • ACT-PAIR Mode — program with the bot interactively

Getting Started

  1. Install SkyCoder from the Extensions panel or the VS Code Marketplace
  2. Open the SkyCoder panel from the Activity Bar (sky icon)
  3. Start chatting — type a task and let your bots get to work
