Sign in once in your browser. No API keys to copy, no separate provider accounts.
Get started
Install this extension.
Click Sign In in the popup, or the AI Pass Sign In button in the status bar at the bottom of the window.
Your browser opens. Click Approve.
Click Open Chat, choose an AI Pass model in the model picker, and start chatting.
What you get
Every AI Pass chat model that supports tools, so agent mode can read and edit your code.
New models show up on their own when AI Pass adds them.
Your remaining AI Pass credit is always visible in the status bar. Usage is charged to that balance; see the details in the developer console.
Good to know
Needs VS Code 1.104 or newer. If your company manages Copilot, an admin can turn off outside models.
Signing in creates an API key named after this editor. You can delete it in the developer console, and that signs this editor out.
Run AI Pass: Sign Out to remove the key from this editor.
