Terminal.app Colors

Copy your macOS Terminal.app profile colors into the VS Code integrated terminal.

Usage

1. Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P).
2. Run Terminal Theme: Import from macOS Terminal.

The extension reads your default Terminal.app profile and writes its colors to workbench.colorCustomizations in your user settings:

• background, foreground, cursor and selection colors
• all 16 ANSI colors (Terminal.app's defaults fill in any the profile doesn't set)

Your other color customizations are kept. Run the command again after you change profiles in Terminal.app.

Requirements

macOS only. The command shows an error on other platforms.
