A file icon theme for Visual Studio Code, inspired by the moss temple garden in Kyoto.


About

Kokedera Icons is a file icon theme with 128 flat, organic icons drawn from the palette of Saihō-ji — moss greens, lantern amber, cedar teal, and stone gray. Each icon is a quiet artifact from the garden — recognizable at a glance, invisible when you're focused.

Installation

  1. Open VS Code
  2. Go to Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X)
  3. Search for "Kokedera Icons"
  4. Click Install
  5. Open command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P)
  6. Search for "Preferences: File Icon Theme"
  7. Select Kokedera Icons
