1Server MCP

One MCP server to rule them all. Install, manage, and run MCP servers from the 1Server marketplace — directly inside VS Code.

What it does

This extension registers the 1server-mcp-engine as an MCP server in VS Code. Once activated, your AI assistant (GitHub Copilot, etc.) can use tools from all your installed 1Server MCP servers.

Built-in management tools:

• 1server_list_servers — List your installed MCP servers
• 1server_search_servers — Search the 1Server marketplace
• 1server_install_server — Install a new MCP server
• 1server_uninstall_server — Remove a server
• 1server_toggle_server — Enable/disable a server
• 1server_list_secrets — List saved API keys and credentials

Getting started

1. Install this extension
2. Get an API key from 1server.ai
3. When prompted, enter your API key (or run 1Server: Set API Key from the command palette)
4. The MCP server starts automatically — your AI assistant now has access to all your 1Server tools
