NOW WITH VISUAL STUDIO 2012 SUPPORT!

Have you ever found yourself wishing you could roll back a few hours to a piece of code you had working but have made changes to? This extension provides an early preview of an automatic, no-configuration history tracking facility for your local machine.

Just install the extension, and whatever you do in your projects and solutions, it silently and efficiently tracks the changes you make to any files that you have opened in the Visual Studio Editor. Then, when you find yourself in need of back-tracking to an earlier version of one or more of those files, you can do so!

For full details, see this Visual Studio blog article

or watch this Channel 9 video

Your feedback is most welcome, and a great place to provide it is in the comments on the blog article above.

V1.1 Fixes the issue with installation and load caused by signature verification problems

V1.2 Adds support for Visual Studio 2012, by popular demand!

Please note:

 1. in common with all extensions, this one does not support Visual Studio Express (Pro, Premium and Ultimate are supported)

2. the extension does not save your snapshots to disc until Visual Studio closes, so it is not a substitute for saving your work.
