This Web Application Project Template is based on the ASP.Net Web Application Project Template that ships with Visual Studio 2010 for .Net Framework 4.0. This Web Application project template was specifically modified to support ASP.Net Forms Authentication for Classic ASP. Since numerous businesses continue to use a mix of Classic ASP along with ASP.Net, it is convenient to be able to use ASP.Net Forms Authentication as a means to authenticate your Classic ASP pages. This project is targeted only towards IIS 7/IIS 7.5 using ASP.Net Integrated mode.
