WinForms Report Viewer for Telerik Reporting

Report viewers enable reporting integration with other applications. When a user relies on a reporting tool, they must be able to easily and quickly embed reporting functionality into existing line-of-business desktop or web applications through dedicated report viewer controls and without significantly restructuring or modifying anything.

The Telerik Reporting WinForms Report Viewer is designed for WinForms applications. It is built with standard Microsoft controls and can operate with an embedded reporting engine or as a client of the Telerik Reporting REST Service. It can be used in projects targeting .NET Framework or .NET Core 3.0+.

The WinForms Report Viewer control does not have any external dependencies on other assemblies when it relies on the embedded reporting engine. When it’s connected to a remote REST Service or Telerik Report Server instances, it requires just a minimum set of external assemblies, referenced through NuGet packages. It is built with standard Microsoft WinForms controls that provide for high compatibility and performance in virtually any WinForms application.

Telerik Reporting WinForms Report Viewer Features

• Designed to be used in WinForms applications using .NET Framework or .NET Core 3.0+
• Displays reports built with Telerik Reporting (either in Telerik Visual Studio, Telerik Standalone Desktop or Telerik Web Report Designer)
• The viewer can work either with a local reporting engine or a remote reporting engine through calls to Telerik Reporting REST Service instances.
• Interactive report navigation and operations, including previous/next page, zoom, drill-down, drill-through, document map, etc.
• Keeps history records of the visited reports that allows to quickly jump back and forth between reports

• Exporting the reports to more than 15 popular document formats, including PDF, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, RTF, CSV, MHTML, and all image and graphic formats supported by GDI+ (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, etc.)
