Overview

The React PDF Generator (PDF Processing) allows you to export a portion or all of the content of a web page to a PDF file, regardless of whether the website was developed with KendoReact or another UI framework, including custom-made (internal) components. It allows you to scale the information to fit better on the page, adjust the paper size, modify the page orientation, work with templates, and access a variety of additional options that give you complete control over the output PDF file.

Multi-Page Content

There are various configuration options for the KendoReact PDF Generator component to aid in generating PDF files that span several pages. This covers adding page breaks manually, allowing the library to insert page breaks automatically, avoiding page breaks in elements, and giving templates for exported material.

Repeated Table Headers

The React PDF Generator component may produce repeated headers throughout all generated PDF pages when rendering HTML tables to PDF.

Hidden Content

The KendoReact PDF Generator library may create content in a PDF file that would otherwise be hidden in the source code.

Hyperlinks

All hyperlinks in a PDF document created by the KendoReact PDF Processing component are clickable by default.

Image Resolution

Images exported using the KendoReact PDF Processing component retain their original resolution. This may not be optimal for pictures with high resolutions. This is why the React PDF Processing module allows you to specify an image resolution that all pictures must comply to.

Styling Content

The KendoReact PDF Processing component allows developers to alter the appearance of content that is going to be exported, allowing CSS to be added to content to give the produced PDF file a distinctive look and feel.

Base64 Strings

Any PDF created by the KendoReact PDF Processing library may be used to create a Base64 string thanks to integration with the KendoReact Drawing library.
