Tfs Notify

The tool lets you right click on one or several workitems and select Manual notify.

You will then be presented with a form that lets you:

• Select witch user to recieve a notification email
• Type a Notification Message
• Optionaly select a new wanted state

Once you press notify the Tool will

• Create and send a notification email to the selected users.
  The email includes the notification message and a direct link to the work item
• Logg the notification message in the work item history 
• Update the state of the work item

Requirements

The current version picks up tfs email settings (smtp server) and sends email using that server from the client. This requires the smtp server used by tfs to accept emails from the client computer and user. Im working on an update there you can specify an cusotm smtp server.
