This extension adds a command on the tools menu to restore the "Get Started" section on the Start Page of VS 2017. There is no guarantee if support for later versions will be provided. You will need to close the start page and reopen it to see the Get Started section. Please use this extension at your own risk. Below is a screenshot of the menu item on the tools top level menu.
