This integration allows you to keep your team informed of all of the activity that is happening in their Team Services or Team Foundation Server pojects.

You can configured some or all of these events to appear in your team's HipChat room:

Quick steps to get started

Integrating HipChat and Team Services or Team Foundation Server is a simple process. Just follow these steps to enable the products to connect.

1. Sign up for HipChat and create a room (or use an exisitng one)
2. Go to your team project's admin area, select Service Hooks, and create a HipChat service hook subscription
3. Select the type of event you want to see in HipChat, set any filters, and finalize the action to take
4. Supply the room token for your HipChat room
5. Test the subscription and enjoy the integration
