Visualize TFVC Branch hierarchy

Visualize your Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) branches for your current project.

By default all branches are displayed, including name, path and recent changeset information.

Double click a branch to open the associated source control page.

Zoom

Use Zoom In, Zoom Out, Zoom to original size or Fit To toolbar icons to zoom in and out of your chart.

Orientation

Switch the orientation of your chart between Top to bottom and Left to Right view.

Export for offline viewing

Export your branch visualization for offline viewing or printing.

Configure

Use the configuration panel to customize the path, creation date, and last changeset information. You can chose your preferred way to visualize branches

Quick steps to get started

  1. Select a Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) repository in CODE.
  2. Select Locate in branch hierarchy in the

context menu
