ResX Guard

ResX Guard is a fast, minimalist translation manager for C# .resx files in Visual Studio.

Edit all languages in a spreadsheet-style grid, filter by issues, and keep satellite resource files in sync — without opening each .resx file one by one.

Features

• Grid editor — keys × languages in one view
• File tree — select which .resx families to show
• Column picker — show/hide locale columns; Summary lists every language
• Validation — missing translations, placeholder mismatches, PascalCase keys, duplicate keys

Getting started

1. Open a solution that contains .resx files
2. Go to View → Other Windows → ResX Guard
3. Select resource families on the left and edit translations in the grid
4. Right-click a .resx file → Open with ResX Guard

Requirements

• Visual Studio 2022 or later (17.0+)
• C# projects with .resx resource files
